Anahata is the fourth chakra, located in the center of the chest. Its element is air, its color is green, and its area of action is love, compassion, and the ability to be in touch with one’s own emotions. HEART CHAKRA is a blend dedicated to the heart chakra, especially to what happens to it under prolonged emotional tension. At such times, one might feel the chest constricting, breathing becoming shallower, and contact with one’s own heart significantly hindered.

Ylang-ylang opens this composition by influencing the nervous system. It lowers blood pressure, slows the heart rate, and relaxes muscle tension in the chest area. Frankincense focuses attention and deepens breathing, acting directly on the rhythm and depth of breath. Rose and jasmine together form the floral heart of this composition. Rose has been shown for centuries to alleviate emotional tension. Jasmine opens one to joy and tenderness. Sandalwood completes the blend, giving it appropriate stability.
